On Tuesday and Wednesday, May 14 and 15, BÜFA was at the Vocatium training fair in the Weser-Ems-Hallen in Oldenburg. The fair is aimed at school pupils from the Weser-Ems region, who can find out about what companies, institutions and universities have to offer career starters in one-to-one meetings arranged in advance. Over 5,000 young people took part in the career choice fair in Oldenburg and were inspired by the wide range of offers.
We presented our apprenticeships in the industrial and commercial sectors and provided information about the benefits at BÜFA. BÜFA trainees gave first-hand accounts of the training process in the international group of companies. On both days, the BÜFA trade fair team had over 100 discussions with interested young people. “We are delighted about the great interest in training at BÜFA and hope that we will be able to welcome some of the pupils as our colleagues next year,” said Training Manager Sabine Hinrichs.
The Vocatium is organized annually in 80 different cities by the Institute for Talent Development. The Oldenburg edition took place for the eleventh time.
