The Chemicals business unit within the BÜFA Group will have a new Managing Director, Laurens Muijs van de Moer, on August 1, 2024. His area of responsibility includes the BÜFA subsidiaries BÜFA Chemikalien in Hude, ViVoChem in Almelo, the Netherlands, Tricura in Oldenburg and all investments in the chemicals sector. He will also be a member of the BÜFA Group management team.
In the Chemicals business unit, BÜFA specializes in the trading and distribution of chemicals of all hazardous substance classes. From two logistics and distribution centers - in Hude near Oldenburg and in Almelo in the Netherlands. BÜFA Chemicals supplies customers from various industries in Europe. The subsidiary Tricura offers professional products and services in the swimming pool and spa industry.
Laurens Muijs van de Moer has been working in the chemical industry for 13 years. He was previously Head of Department Business Line Steering at Helm AG in Hamburg and coordinated the European marketing activities between the holding company and the subsidiaries. "Laurens Muijs van de Moer will use his expertise in international chemicals trading to further develop the Chemicals business area at BÜFA and expand the existing market activities. We are planning to make the business area even more international and are focusing on both organic and inorganic growth," says Felix Thalmann, CEO of the BÜFA Group.
