The BÜFA Group was honored with the ESG Transparancy Award by EUPD Research for its transparent sustainability reporting at the ESG Summit on December 11. The prize is awarded to organizations for outstanding transparent communication of their sustainability goals and activities in the form of a sustainability report.
In 2020, the winners included European corporations, large companies and medium-sized companies from over 15 sectors. EUPD's evaluation criteria are based on legal framework conditions, applicable regulations, existing frameworks, global standards, best practices and its own analysis data. The ESG Transparency Evaluation Standard includes all relevant aspects in the areas of environmental, social and governance. In addition to the evaluation, BÜFA will receive a detailed competition analysis showing where the ESG report is located.
BÜFA Sustainability Manager Yvonne Burmann explains: “We see chemistry as a key to transformation in a world fit for the future. Transparent communication of our successes and challenges is an essential part of our corporate philosophy and true sustainability. We are therefore pleased that our commitment to reporting has been recognized with the ESG Transparency Award.”
